The Southwest Hepatitis C Tribal Summit is the first of its kind addressing Hepatitis C in American Indian and Alaska Native communities in the American Southwest. This Summit is sponsored by the Hughes Healthcare Disparities Group and the National Native American AIDS Prevention Center, with support from the Office of Minority Health Resource Center. Collaborating with the planning and implementation are the following organizations:

- Dine College Integrated HIV/HCV/Substance Abuse Prevention Program
- First Nations Community Healthsource, Inc.

Advocates for change in American Indian and Alaska Native communities are highly encourage to attend. These include HIV/STD/HCV prevention and care providers, Substance Abuse and Harm Reduction providers, Department of Corrections staff, Community Health Workers, Health Educators, Tribal leaders, community members, and people living with or affected by hepatitis.
